Terms of Service

1. About DorKey and These Terms

DorKey Locksmith Services is a trade name of Moen Security Solutions LLC. In these Terms, "DorKey," "we," "us," and "our" refer to Moen Security Solutions LLC doing business as DorKey Locksmith Services. DorKey provides residential, commercial, automotive, and safe and vault locksmith services in portions of eastern Nebraska and western Iowa.

These Terms govern the Site. Actual locksmith work may be subject to a separate estimate, invoice, work order, authorization, warranty, or other service terms. If a separate service document conflicts with these Terms on a matter involving the actual work, the service document controls for that matter to the extent permitted by law.

2. The Site Is Not Emergency Dispatch

The Site and its service-request form are not continuously monitored emergency-dispatch systems. Submitting a request does not guarantee an immediate response, an appointment, service availability, or a particular arrival time.

For a life-threatening situation, fire, suspected crime in progress, child or person trapped in danger, or other public-safety emergency, call 911 or the appropriate emergency authority. Do not rely on the Site.

3. Service Requests and Appointments

When you submit a service request:

• Provide accurate, current, and reasonably complete information;
• Do not impersonate another person or misrepresent your authority;
• Do not submit unlawful, fraudulent, abusive, or misleading requests;
• Do not upload malware or content that violates another person's rights; and
• Do not submit payment-card numbers, safe combinations, alarm codes, passwords, or other unnecessary sensitive information.

An online submission is only a request for contact. A job is not scheduled and DorKey is not obligated to dispatch until DorKey directly confirms the request and availability.

You authorize DorKey to reply about the request using the phone number or email address you provide and the contact method you select. Standard carrier message and data rates may apply to texts. Contact us if you no longer wish to communicate by a particular method.

4. Identity, Ownership, and Authorization

Locksmith work affects access to homes, businesses, vehicles, safes, vaults, keys, and security systems. DorKey may require satisfactory proof of identity and proof that you own, lawfully possess, manage, or are otherwise authorized to access the property or system.

Examples may include government-issued identification, vehicle registration, a lease, business credentials, proof of ownership, or confirmation from an owner or authorized representative. The appropriate proof depends on the circumstances.

DorKey may delay or refuse service when identity or authority cannot be reasonably verified, when the request appears unlawful or unsafe, or when performing the request could violate law or another person's rights. DorKey may contact an owner, manager, law-enforcement agency, or other appropriate party when reasonably necessary to verify authority or protect safety.

You are responsible for obtaining permission from any owner, landlord, property manager, employer, lienholder, co-owner, or other person whose authorization is required.

5. Availability, Compatibility, and Estimates

Service availability depends on factors including location, current workload, weather, traffic, technician availability, the requested work, parts, tools, vehicle or hardware compatibility, and safety conditions.

Information on the Site is general and is not a binding quote or guarantee that DorKey can service every lock, safe, vehicle, device, or system. An estimate based on information provided remotely may change after on-site inspection or if the information, condition, scope, parts, or access requirements differ from what was described.

When reasonably possible, DorKey will explain expected charges before work begins and discuss material changes to the scope or price before performing additional work. Taxes, parts, travel, after-hours service, diagnostic work, or other charges may apply when disclosed as part of the estimate or service authorization.

6. Service Methods and Separate Authorization

Some locksmith work may involve disassembly, drilling, cutting, programming, replacement, manipulation, or other methods that can cause unavoidable wear or damage. DorKey will determine appropriate service options based on the circumstances and will seek any additional authorization reasonably required before using a destructive entry method or materially changing the agreed scope.

Submitting the Site's form by itself does not authorize DorKey to enter property, alter hardware, incur charges, or perform destructive work. Any required service authorization will occur separately.

7. Payment, Cancellations, and Refunds

The Site does not currently accept online payment. Payment methods, due dates, deposits, cancellation terms, service-call charges, warranties, and any refund terms for an actual job will be disclosed through the applicable estimate, confirmation, invoice, work order, or service authorization.

DorKey will not impose a cancellation fee or no-show charge based solely on these Website Terms. Any such charge must be disclosed before the applicable appointment or dispatch, to the extent required by law.

8. Acceptable Use of the Site

You may use the Site only for lawful personal or business purposes. You may not:

• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Site, its hosting platform, forms, databases, or another user's information;
• Probe, scan, disrupt, overload, scrape, or interfere with the Site or its security;
• Use automated systems to submit spam or fraudulent requests;
• Copy or exploit Site content for a competing commercial service except as permitted by law;
• Introduce viruses, malicious code, or harmful material; or
• Use the Site to facilitate unauthorized entry, theft, fraud, harassment, or any unlawful act.

We may restrict access, preserve relevant records, and report suspected unlawful activity when reasonably appropriate.

9. Intellectual Property

The Site's original text, graphics, branding, layout, photographs, mascot artwork, logos, and other content are owned by or licensed to DorKey and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. You may view and print reasonable portions for personal, noncommercial use. No other license is granted.

"DorKey Locksmith Services" and related branding may not be used in a way that falsely suggests endorsement, affiliation, or authorization.

10. Third-Party Services and Links

The Site may rely on or link to third-party hosting, fonts, maps, social-media profiles, business listings, communications, payment, or other services. DorKey does not control and is not responsible for a third party's site, availability, content, security, or policies. A link does not necessarily constitute endorsement.

11. Site Disclaimers

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Site and its content are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. DorKey does not warrant that:

• The Site will always be available, secure, or error-free;
• All Site information will always be complete or current;
• A service request will be received or answered within a particular time;
• A particular service, part, key, programming function, or appointment will be available; or
• General Site information will fit a specific situation.

Nothing in these Terms excludes a warranty, duty, or consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded.

12. Limitation of Liability for Site Use

To the fullest extent permitted by law, DorKey will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising solely from use of, or inability to use, the Site, including a lost or delayed form submission.

This section concerns the Site. It does not replace the terms, responsibilities, insurance coverage, or remedies that apply to locksmith work actually performed, and it does not limit liability that cannot legally be limited.

13. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle information associated with the Site and service requests. It is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Nebraska, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except when applicable law requires otherwise. A dispute relating solely to use of the Site must be brought in a court with proper jurisdiction serving DorKey's principal place of business, unless applicable law provides a different required venue.

These Terms do not waive any nonwaivable consumer-protection right.

15. Changes, Severability, and Waiver

We may update these Terms by posting the revised version with a new "Last updated" date. Changes apply prospectively when posted unless another date is stated.

If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect to the extent permitted by law. DorKey's failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of the right to enforce it later.
